Supporting Development of the Green Guide
The Green Guide for Health Care is a project of the Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems and Health Care Without Harm.
The Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems is a non-profit design firm established in 1975, engaged in life cycle design to foster ecological balance. The Center actively pursues interdisciplinary collaborations with a common vision of healthful environments, economic prosperity and social equity. The Center convened the Green Guide for Health Care in 2002.
Health Care Without Harm is an international non-profit campaign coalition of hospitals and health care systems, medical professionals, community groups, health-affected constituencies, labor unions, environmental health organizations and religious groups with offices in Arlington, VA, Brussels, Buenos Aires and Manila. Together with partners around the world, Health Care Without Harm shares a vision of a health care sector that does no harm, and promotes the health of people and the environment. Through multiple campaigns, it seeks to implement ecologically sound and healthy health care practices.
The Green Guide for Health Care welcomes financial support for its continued efforts through several options: Sponsors, Champions, Partners, Friends, and Endorsers. Supporters at every level affirm the intent and principles of the Green Guide while not expressly endorsing every document, strategy or credit. All contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Support for the development of the Green Guide is open to both individuals as well as the following types of organizations:
